Lemke Bolivia 2015

Nine University of Arkansas students and two instructors from the Walter J. Lemke Department of Journalism spent two weeks in
Santa Cruz, Bolivia, in May and June 2015.

The students’ assignment was to commit journalism. Find stories they wanted to cover and share them with the world through a
multimedia package.

After a crash course in video work, the students met five
counterparts in Santa Cruz — college students there studying
English and who someday hope to be professional interpreters and
translators. These are the stories those teams found.
